Weekend-trip to Germany

Some time ago, I decided to fly to German over a weekend (4th to 6th July 2008) - once again. Two friends of mine (Chris and Bea) got married and so I booked a flight just 5 days before I left... So I left Thursday after work, arrived in germany Friday noon and left again Monday night which means I got back Monday night to Vancouver.

Me at the airport waiting to leave. Actually I didn't wait at all because I showed up only slightly more than 1 hour before departure :) Not that much for a international trip.

My parents at home: colour and b/w
I spent Friday night with our neighbours (Family Tork), unfortunately without a picture!

Before the wedding on Saturday I stopped by at Ratzen's place. Nice to see you all again!

The next day, Sunday, I first went to meet some old school friends for lunch. Ok, I made it for probably half an hour! But it was great seeing you all again even if just for a short period. Especially Ella who organized that. I think i haven#t seen her for a long time since she moved to South Africa.

My main aim for this day was watching my brother taking part in the Iron Man in Frankfurt. But before that I spent some time with Seppel's parents since they life next to Frankfurt (Offenbach)!
Unfortunately I missed my brother in his last running loop! SORRY Sebi!

After that I stopped by in Darmstadt and had a small come together at Inga's place - thanks for that! It was nice to see you all again!!!

Last but not least:

I had a great weekend and enjoyed every minute - probably not the long flight but everything else!
Thanks everybody to help me organizing all this and make everything possible.
